Zearfoss to conclude season with Textron Off Road World Finals

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, PA (October 30, 2017) – Brock Zearfoss’ career year will come to a close in less than a week. In repeat fashion, the “Jonestown Jet” will close down his year by taking on the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at The Dirt Track at Charlotte near Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Textron Off Road World Finals will headline competition at the state-of-the-art facility and will feature back-to-back World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series programs on Friday and Saturday, November 3-4. The weekend will ignite officially with two rounds of qualifying on Thursday, November 2.

Brock Zearfoss entered the 2016 World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte but missed main event competition, ending his weekend with an appearance in Saturday night’s Last Chance Showdown.

“We have some additional momentum on our side this year, so I’m confident our World Finals trip will be a little more successful,” Zearfoss said, pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 3Z. “I think Charlotte is the place we need to be. All eyes will be on the World Finals this weekend. Our team deserves the exposure that event brings.”

Zearfoss will enter the weekend with a recent top-five performance to his credit, rallying from ninth to finish fourth during Susquehanna Speedway’s Final Showdown on Saturday, October 28; Pennsylvania’s final sprint car event of the 2017 season. For Zearfoss, the top-five finish was his sixth consecutive at the York Haven facility, finishing no worse than fifth and as high as third. With seven victories accounted for, a single season-high for the “Jonestown Jet,” Zearfoss will enter the Pennsylvania off-season fifth in the final Central PA Sprint Series presented by Hoseheads.com point standings, just three markers behind 12-time winner, Lance Dewease.
