Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil End of Year Awards
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars season ended last month and there are a few end of season awards to send out. The point checks to the top 10 drivers all went out today along with some other awards.
The 2013 Keizer Wheels Rookie of the Year Award went to Blane Heimbach. 2013 was Blane’s first year running 410 sprint cars exclusively and he finished 9th in series points along with the Port Royal Speedway track title. Blane will receive a front wheel from Keizer Wheels along with his point check.
Greg Hodnett will receive the KSE Power Steering Hard Charger Award for 2013. Greg finished 2nd in series points even after missing almost a month of races due to an early season injury. Greg will receive a KSE Steering product certificate along with his point check.
Don Kreitz Jr will receive the Shaver Wesmar Gear Drives Sportsmanship Award. Don finished in 11th place one spot out of the money but had 7 wins. Don will receive a product certificate from Shaver Wesmar Gear Drives.
Champion Fred Rahmer will receive a bumper and nerf bar set from Triple X Race Co along with his champions point check.
The 11th through 20th place drivers will all receive a packet with an assortment of product certificates in the coming weeks from Kreitz Oval Track Parts, Pancho’s Racing Products, Zemco Speed Equipment, Rod End Supply, Saldana Racing Products, Keizer Wheels, VRP Shocks, Wings Unlimited, Hinchman Racing Uniforms, RE Enterprises and KSE Racing Products.
Title sponsors Speedway Motors, based out of Lincoln NE and Champion Racing Oil, based out of Clinton MO will stay as series title sponsors for the 2014 season. You can check them out on the web at www.SpeedwayMotors.com & www.championbrands.com.
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars start the 2014 season on Saturday February 22nd at Lincoln Speedway.
