Allison Park, PA (September 4th, 2013) – Crate late model competition will resume for Colton Flinner and his familiar American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, no. 75 this Friday and Saturday, September 6th & 7th at the Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pennsylvania. A two-day ‘September Sweep’ season-ending special will take place at the Eriez Speedway 3/8’s mile oval this Friday and Saturday; with a $5,000 FASTRAK City Chevrolet Northeast Touring Division/FASTRAK National event being hosted during the ‘September Sweep’ weekend. The FASTRAK National event will not only be the largest crate late model program of the 2013 Eriez Speedway season, but the largest crate late model event in the history of Eriez Speedway. Flinner will face-off against the best that FASTRAK has to offer this weekend; including current FASTRAK ‘hotshot’ and City Chevrolet Northeast Touring Division point leader, Max Blair. The NDRL’s United Late Model Series (ULMS) super late models will also be on hand at the Eriez Speedway during the ‘September Sweep’ weekend; with a $5,000-to-win finale being contested on Saturday, September 7th.
Colton Flinner will travel north to the Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pennsylvania this Friday and Saturday to compete in the FASTRAK National program; which will award $5,000-to-win on Saturday, September 7th. The FASTRAK crate late models will participate in one (1) full program over the two-day ‘September Sweep’ special; with qualifying and heat races being contested on Friday, September 6th. Flinner has visited the Eriez Speedway on a few occasions already in 2013, but has yet to find victory lane. The recent FASTRAK City Chevrolet Northeast Touring Division winner hopes to secure an Eriez Speedway victory lane appearance, and a first-career FASTRAK National win, all in the same night this Saturday, September 7th. Colton Flinner will enter the ‘September Sweep’ weekend at the Eriez Speedway with four (4) crate late model victories to his credit thus far in 2013; with three (3) of those being earned at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania; and one (1) being earned at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Recent results for Colton Flinner includes earning the 2013 ‘Jook George Classic’ victory at ‘PPMS’ worth $1,000; as well as earning a career-first FASTRAK City Chevrolet Northeast Touring Division victory at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania worth $1,500. The ‘Jook George Classic’ win and FASTRAK touring win occurred during consecutive weekends.
