Central Pennsylvania will be a hot bed of action this Labor Day Weekend; as four full nights of 410 sprint car action become a possibility for all fans and race teams in the region. Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, and Port Royal Speedway all become possibilities for race fans and race teams this weekend; with both Williams Grove and Port Royal offering a double race weekend!
Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, will be offering two big money evening’s this weekend; including the Jack Gunn Memorial Triple 20’s for 410 sprint cars on Friday night – and the Billy Kimmel Memorial for 410’s on Sunday night. Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, will be on the board during their usual time slot on Saturday evening this weekend- offering sprint car racing and fireworks for the fans. The event will also be the last points race for 410 sprint cars. Last weekend’s cancelled 59th Anniversary show has been rescheduled for Friday night, October 21st.
Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, will be offering 410ci action on Saturday and Monday, respectively. Saturday’s Port Royal Speedway show will highlight the Juniata County Fair opening night; leaving Monday’s Labor Day Classic day race as a last chance effort for fans and teams to participate in the highly anticipated weekend of 410 action. This year’s Labor Day Classic at Port Royal is celebrating its 60th birthday.
Lance Dewease is still on top of the Central Pennsylvania point standings with six wins; followed by Greg Hodnett, and Fred Rahmer, respectively.
