KNOXVILLE, Iowa (June 3, 2024) – Two days at the world-famous Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, resulted in back-to-back top-five scores for Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), doing so during the facility’s Corn Belt Clash (featuring the USAC National Sprint Cars) on Friday and Saturday, May 31 and June 1.

Concluding as his top result of the weekend, Reutzel, ace of the Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, No. 87 sprint car, kicked-off his two-day campaign at the Sprint Car Capital of the World with a 360 sprint car start on Friday, May 31, capping the event with a runner-up finish to local standout, Jamie Ball. The Clute, Texas, native rallied big in the final two circuits, claiming third with three to go and eventually second on the white flag lap. Unfortunately, Ball was too strong and too far gone.

Just one night later, Reutzel and RSR finished fourth in the 410 sprint car portion of the weekend program, maintaining their place within the top-five after starting just two positions better. With all results considered, “A-Aron” is currently second in the Knoxville Raceway 410 standings, trailing Altoona, Iowa’s Austin McCarl by a mere two markers. Impressive enough, Reutzel and RSR now own 16 top-ten scores on the season, 14 of which within the top-five including five triumphs.
