DOUBLE-W: Double D with feature sweep at Selinsgrove; Williams Grove, Lincoln, BAPS all ahead

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (August 18, 2025) – “Double-D” Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing put it all together Friday night at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, not only sweeping the evening’s double feature program, but achieving Hard Charger honors in the process (advancing seven total positions) and collecting a grand total of $10,500. For Dietrich, the victories propelled his win total to ten on the year, and if you include his eventual top-five at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, August 16, Dietrich’s top-ten count now stands at 45, 32 of which accomplished within the top-five.

As hinted, Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Speedway Volkswagen & Subaru, Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, RV 4 Wheel Drive & Performance, No. 48 sprint car, earned his third top-five of the weekend at Port Royal Speedway, finishing fifth in the $20,000-to-win Living Legends Dream Race. The Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, ace climbed two spots from row four, commencing action with his group’s fastest qualifying time.

“Just another great weekend…these guys deserved this,” Danny Dietrich was quick to note. “Our schedule has been a little hectic with a lot of travel and a lot of time away from home, so to get a win, or two in one night, is pretty rewarding. Still a lot of racing left on our schedule, and a lot of big money to chase. We’ll work to keep this going.”
