Colton Flinner shown racing in his familiar ’75’ in 2011.
Fully Injected crate late model star, Colton Flinner, was officially crowned track champion of Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway yesterday at the annual awards banquet! The Allison Park, Pennsylvania native earned his first track championship in 2011 – after starting the season unsure about wanting to compete at the big half-mile in Imperial on a weekly basis. Justin Lamb and Fully Injected’s Mike Reft rounded out the top three in the final championship chase standings.
Flinner looks to begin his 2012 season at the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania. The FASTRAK Spring Super Nationals will be a two-day event on March 31st and April 1st paying $3,000 to the winner after 50 laps of competition. If he doesn’t venture to Roaring Knob, then the team will kick-off the year at PPMS on Saturday, April 7th!
You can check out Colton Flinner’s 2012 ‘Fully Injected’ car this weekend at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills mall on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!
