Hermitage, PA (July 24th, 2013) – Third generation sprint car driver and Hermitage, Pennsylvania native, Adam Kekich, will return to ‘410’ sprint car competition this Friday evening, July 26th at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania; taking part in another round of weekly ‘Fab Four’ action. This will be the first appearance by the Kekich Racing ‘5K’ operation at the Sarver 4/10’s mile oval since early May of the 2013 racing season.
Adam Kekich finished just outside of the top-fifteen during his last appearance at the Lernerville Speedway clay oval back on Friday, May 3rd; finishing sixteenth (16th), officially, during the 25-lap, ‘410’ sprint car main event. The Kekich Racing ‘5K’ team plans to make their presence a little more known this Friday evening in Sarver, Pennsylvania; with hopes of matching their ‘305’ sprint car success from the beginning of the season. Adam Kekich earned a ‘305’ sprint car victory at the Lernerville Speedway during the annual ‘Steel City Stampede’ back in early April. The ‘305’ win was Kekich’s first and only Lernerville Speedway victory; and his second-career win while in the cockpit of a sprint car.
After Lernerville Speedway competition is complete on Friday evening, July 26th; Adam Kekich will switch gears, and focus his attention to the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania for another night of weekly ‘Saturday Night Live!’ action this Saturday night, July 27th. Kekich is a former ‘410’ sprint car winner at the Mercer 3/8’s dirt oval, and hopes to collect a second-career ‘410’ win this Saturday night at ‘The Park.’ The western Pennsylvania native has been a weekly competitor at the Mercer Raceway Park since the beginning of his 2013 campaign, and will enter this weekend’s ‘Saturday Night Live!’ program fifth (5th) in the current ‘410’ driver standings; trailing defending track champion and current point leader, Eric Williams, by 125 markers.
Adam Kekich, who pilots the Kekich Racing, Sunburst Environmental, Tight Seal Glass Block, Hermitage Agway, no. 5K ‘410’ sprint car, has two (2) career sprint car victories under his belt, and will attempt to earn win number three (3) as early as this Friday night. Kekich is a former ‘410’ sprint car winner at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania; and also owns one (1) career ‘305’ sprint car victory at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. 2013 season highlights for Adam Kekich and Kekich Racing include qualifying for two consecutive UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions main events at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio; as well as earning an UNOH All Star heat race win at the Mercer Raceway Park.
