Evans City, PA (July 10th, 2013) – Brandon Spithaler will enter the Lernerville Speedway pit gates in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, July 12th as the current sprint car track championship point leader at the facility. The Evans City, Pennsylvania native currently holds an eighteen (18) point advantage over multi-time Lernerville Speedway sprint car feature winner, Jack Sodeman Jr., heading into this Friday’s ‘Fab Four’ event. Spithaler, who pilots the familiar Cycle Warehouse, Harmony Trucks, Bill’s Interior Grooming, no. 22 ‘410’ sprint car, will attempt to maintain his point lead throughout the ‘Fab Four’ racing program this Friday night at the Lernerville Speedway; as a provisional starting spot for next Tuesday’s ‘Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup,’ sanctioned by the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, will be awarded to the point leader at the conclusion of the July 12th ‘Fab Four’ racing program. The provisional starting spot will guarantee participation in both World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series 30-lap twin features on Tuesday, July 16th at the Lernerville Speedway. Each ‘Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup’ 30-lap twin feature will award $15,000.

Brandon Spithaler has earned one (1) ‘410’ sprint car victory at the Lernerville Speedway already in 2013. The Western Pennsylvania native has been ultra-consistent with, and without the wing, at the Sarver 4/10’s mile dirt oval this season; earning multiple top-five finishes including six (6) podium appearances. The Lernerville Speedway victory for Brandon Spithaler took place back on May 31st during ‘Fab Four’ weekly competition; which also acted at Spithaler’s first-career Lernerville Speedway triumph.

Rounding out the top-five in the current Lernerville Speedway sprint car track championship point chase are Jack Sodeman Jr. (2nd), Eric ‘Turkey’ Williams (3rd), Brandon Matus (4th), and former track champion, Carl Bowser (5th). Only thirty (30) points separate the top five (5) teams in the standings heading into Friday’s ‘Fab Four’ racing program. The Friday night ‘Fab Four’ racing card, which will feature all four (4) of the track’s weekly racing divisions, will also recognize local youth sports in the form of FALL/NSB Youth Sports Night.

Recent Lernerville Speedway results for Brandon Spithaler include a runner-up performance during a Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) non-wing feature event back on Friday, July 5th. Spithaler is a full-time traveler with the B.O.S.S. series in 2013, but has been fortunate enough this season that his B.O.S.S. schedule has yet to conflict with any Lernerville point racing.
