GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (July 18, 2022) – Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing put together a successful campaign in Eldora Speedway’s annual Kings Royal blockbuster, not only capping the four-day/four-race agenda with a podium and two other top-tens, but highlighting his appearance with a sixth-place outcome in the $175,000-to-win Kings Royal finale on Saturday, July 16. Impressive enough, Brown led a large portion of the 40-lap headliner, taking command on lap eight and maintaining charge until eventual winner, Brent Marks, snuck by on lap 22.

Brown, ace of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Rowdy Energy, Ditzfeld transfer, Champion Brands, MC Power, Weld Wheels, Housby, Maxim Chassis, J.D. Welding & Machine, Waldinger, Smiley’s Racing Products, No. 21 sprint car, earned his mentioned podium outcome in Eldora’s Kings Royal Week opener, finishing third in the $10,000-to-win Jokers Wild.

Perhaps Brown’s most impressive display occurred in Thursday’s $100,000-to-win Historical Big One, leading a massive charge from 19th to finish sixth at the line. “Blackjack” utilized the bottom of the speedway to make his gains, climbing his way to fourth before settling into sixth at the finish.

“I’m so proud of this Casey’s/FVP team…from our third place finish on Wednesday, to our huge charge in the Historical Big One, to getting to start fourth in the Kings Royal finale and leading laps…my guys busted their butts all weekend and I’m so very thankful and proud of them,” Brown said, a three-time Knoxville Raceway winner this season. “Leading the Kings Royal was great. We were just a bit too good too early. When Brent Marks and the others showed up, we got to sliding around too much which hurt our momentum. Regardless, it was an amazing effort all week and I’m very proud. Here’s to continuing our progress this weekend at Knoxville.”
