Carl Bowser & Rex King Jr. clinch titles with feature wins
Jared Miley wins the race, but Alex Ferree wins the title
Joe Kelley wins first feature of 2014, title still up for grabs
Sarver, PA (August 15, 2014) Jared Miley held off a hard charging Alex Ferree to win the Precise Late Model feature; Ferree had already clinched his fifth career Budweiser Track Championship during heat race action. Rex King Jr. sealed his first career Lernerville Track Championship with his fifth feature win of the season. Carl Bowser claimed his second career Bud Crown with his fifth win of the season as well. Jim Fosnaught will have to wait another week to clinch his title, as Joe Kelley held off Corey McPherson to win his first feature of 2014. Fosnaught finished sixth and carries a 23-point lead over Rob Shook who finished fourth. Corey McPherson has not been mathematically eliminated yet, but it will be nearly impossible to make up a 37-point lead and leapfrog two drivers.
