Chase Dietz Earns Third Williams Grove Win of 2015 Season
Racks Up Four Top-Ten Finishes in Two Divisions During Labor Day Weekend

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (September 8, 2015) – Chase Dietz made the most of his long, holiday weekend, racking up a combined four consecutive top-ten finishes in two different sprint car divisions. The York, Pennsylvania native made three “410” starts during Labor Day weekend, while also making one “358” appearance. Dietz finished no worse than tenth during the four day campaign through central Pennsylvania; highlighted with a trip to victory lane on Sunday night at Williams Grove Speedway.

“It was a great weekend, nonetheless” said Chase Dietz, “To stay competitive and consistent for four nights in a row says a lot about both of these race teams. I can’t thank Troy Godfrey and Scott Gobrecht enough for the opportunities they each give me. The amount of support they give me is overwhelming at times. I’m glad to be able to pay them back with positive results.”

Chase Dietz launched his four day stretch with “Jack Gunn Memorial” action at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, September 4. The driver of the Scott Gobrecht, Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, Gettysburg Rental Company, #44, 410 sprint car finished seventh during the $6,000-to-win main event after starting eighth in the running order.

The “410” division rookie would continue his weekend on Saturday evening, September 5, at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Dietz finished tenth during main event action; his fourth top-ten finish of the 2015 season in the Pigeon Hills. The third generation sprint car driver ended his 2015 Lincoln Speedway campaign 11th in the final “410” track championship standings, winning one main event along the way.

Dietz returned to 358 sprint car competition on Sunday evening, September 6, back at the Williams Grove Speedway. The driver of the Troy Godfrey, Godfrey Racing Engines, #5, 358 sprinter earned his third Williams Grove Speedway victory of the 2015 season on Sunday night, capturing the “358” portion of the “Billy Kimmel Memorial” worth $1,200. In addition, with the help of Bill McIntyre and his family as a sponsor, Chase Dietz and Troy Godfrey were able to donate close to $1,500 toward the “Helping Hometown Heroes” charity. With the victory, Chase Dietz is now the official “358” point leader at Williams Grove Speedway.

Chase “Dynomite” Dietz ended his long, holiday weekend with a career-first appearance at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Monday afternoon, September 7. Dietz drove the Scott Gobrecht entry to a top-ten performance on Monday afternoon, winning his respective heat race before finishing sixth during the 25-lap, $4000-to-win main event. The college freshman led the first 13 laps before eventually fading to sixth after the event’s last restart.

“We were close on Sunday” said Chase Dietz, “That last restart hurt us a little bit…I didn’t get the jump that I needed. We are still really happy with our results. To show up there for the first time and contend for a win is special. We hope to be a contender for the rest of the season.”

Future plans will be determined in the coming days. Stay tuned for more details.
