Chase Dietz Scores Two Podium Finishes in Three Days
Earns Career High ‘410’ Sprint Car Finish at Susquehanna

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (July 22nd, 2015) – Central Pennsylvania rising star Chase Dietz took advantage of his recent three race weekend and scored a podium finish in two different sprint car divisions. Dietz, who shares his 410ci sprint car schedule with select 358ci sprint car programs at the Williams Grove Speedway, earned his podium finishes at Williams Grove Speedway and Susquehanna Speedway Park during the recent weekend; capturing a career-high third place finish during 410ci competition in the process. The York, Pennsylvania native hopes to utilize his consistency and continue his strong pursuit towards a career-first 410ci victory.

“Things have been going very well and we can’t be any happier” said Chase Dietz, “We’ve been strong in both cars this year and both owners are pleased. We are heading into the downhill portion of the season now so we want to keep the positive results coming. I just want to thank everyone involved with both race teams. I’m surrounded by great people who make my dream possible.”

Chase Dietz scored his first podium finish of the recent weekend on Friday night, July 17th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Back behind the wheel of the Troy Godfrey owned, Godfrey Racing Engines, no. 5, 358ci sprint car, Dietz rallied from a 13th starting position to finish second during feature competition at ‘The Grove.’ The third generation sprint car driver has now earned five consecutive podium finishes during his last five starts during 358ci competition; amassing two victories and three second place finishes. Chase Dietz was the 2014 Lincoln Speedway 358ci track champion.

“We were good on Friday” said Chase Dietz, “We had a chance to win but just kinda ran out of time. Troy Godfrey gives me a great car. It’s been an amazing experience this year driving for his race team.”

After a ‘disappointing’ night at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, July 18th, finishing 16th in the annual Gohn Memorial main event during 410ci competition, Chase Dietz would rebound and score his second podium finish of the weekend. The recent high school graduate visited the Susquehanna Speedway Park near York Haven, Pennsylvania on Sunday night, July 19th. Dietz, driver of the Scott Gobrecht owned, Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, Gettysburg Rental Company, ‘44,’ 410ci sprinter, finished third officially on Sunday night after starting fifth during feature competition; earning a heat race victory along the way. It was a career high finish for Chase Dietz behind the wheel of a 410ci power plant.

“What a weekend!” said Dietz, “Saturday was kinda tough on us. The car just wasn’t right all night but we figured everything out before Sunday. We were pretty good all night at Susquehanna. We started fifth and worked our way to third. To finish right behind the ‘21’ and ‘48’ is pretty special. We were really excited.”

Chase Dietz will act as a spectator this weekend as the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series are scheduled to invade the Williams Grove Speedway for the annual ‘Summer Nationals.’
