York, PA (August 15th, 2013) – Cory Haas will have two (2) opportunities to earn season win no. 2 this Friday night, August 16th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The world-famous half-mile oval will be hosting twin 20-lap features for the ‘410’ sprint cars; awarding $2,500 to each 20-lap main event winner. Haas, who pilots the Mike Barshinger owned, Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., Thornton Chevrolet, Tailgaters Grill & Drafthouse, no. 11C ‘410’ sprinter each and every weekend in Central Pennsylvania, owns one (1) main event victory at the Williams Grove Speedway in 2013, and hopes to earn one (1) more, if not two (2), this Friday evening.

Haas, who is a former multi-time ‘358’ sprint car champion at the Williams Grove Speedway, will enter the pit gates on Friday afternoon currently eleventh (11th) in the Williams Grove Speedway driver standings; just forty-five (45) markers out of the tenth position. Cory Haas’ lone Williams Grove Speedway win of the 2013 season came back on Friday evening, April 12th. Although marks in the win column may be less than desired, the Haas/Barshinger operation still owns many top-five and top-ten finishes all through Central Pennsylvania; making them one of the most consistent teams in the ‘Keystone State.’ Cory Haas’ consistency places him eleventh (11th) in the SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL CENTRAL PA SPRINT CARS Presented by HOSEHEADS standings. More information regarding Friday night’s Twin 20-lap features at the Williams Grove Speedway can be found online at www.williamsgrove.com.

Once the twin 20-lap feature program is complete at the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday evening, August 16th; Cory Haas, and the entire Mike Barshinger ‘11C’ team, will switch their focus to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The ‘410’ sprint cars will headline the Lincoln Speedway ‘York County Racing Club Night’ program on Saturday evening, August 17th. Haas finds himself sixth (6th) in the updated Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ driver standings; on the strength of six (6) top-five finishes and thirteen (13) top-ten finishes.
