Barberville, FL (February 14th, 2014) – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native Danny Holtgraver ended his 2014 UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions Florida campaign last night, February 13th, with a top-five finish at the Volusia Speedway Park near Barberville, Florida. The Thursday night UNOH All Star program at Volusia acted as the 2014 Florida finale for ‘American’s Series;’ with three (3) races in-all being completed in north-central Florida. Holtgraver, who pilots the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, West View Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H, competed in all three (3) UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions events in the ‘Sunshine State’ during the past week; earning three (3) top-fifteen finishes including one (1) top-ten and one (1) top-five. There were five Florida dates originally scheduled for the UNOH All Stars in 2014; with Mother Nature being responsible for the change.
Holtgraver’s best finish during UNOH All Star competition in Florida occurred last night, Thursday, February 13th, at the Volusia Speedway Park near Barberville, Florida. The former Lernerville Speedway track champion finished 5th during the 30-lap, UNOH All Star, DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment main event. The top-five finish capped off a very successful evening for Danny Holtgraver and Hunter Racing. The ‘10H’ team timed third (3rd) fastest during qualifying time trials out of the forty-three (43) teams that took time. Holtgraver would transfer through his respective heat race earning himself a dash starting position. The three-time UNOH All Star winner in 2013 would finish fourth in the evening’s dash; allowing the Hunter Racing ‘10H’ to start the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win main event on the outside of row number two. Holtgraver would battle the best in the business for thirty very demanding laps; hanging on for his first top-five finish of the 2014 season. Joey Saldana was the Thursday night winner.

Although UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ action is complete in the sunny state of Florida for 2014, ‘410’ sprint car action will continue as the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series is set to make their 2014 debut later this evening, February 14th, at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. Danny Holtgraver and Hunter Racing will be competing with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series during their entire Florida stint; which will include three (3) consecutive nights of competition at the Volusia Speedway Park from Friday, February 14th until Sunday, February 16th. The three nights of action will also help close-out the sprint car portion of the 2014 DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment at Volusia Speedway Park.
