Pittsburgh, PA (May 13th, 2013) – After spending the recent weekend battling Mother Nature, and eventually participating in a Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) event at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, Danny Holtgraver and the B&R Racing ‘45’ team will be back in action this Friday and Saturday, May 17th & 18th, at two major ‘410’ events in Ohio and West Virginia. The pilot of the B&R Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Canton Erectors, Alternative Power Sources, DKW Transport, no. 45 ‘410’ sprint car will jump start his upcoming weekend by participating in another round of F.A.S.T. competition this Friday evening, May 17th, at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio; and will conclude his upcoming weekend with a visit to the I-77 Raceway Park (WV) with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions on Saturday, May 18th. Each event offers a possible $5,000 pay day; with Attica Raceway Park’s program featuring two (2) 25-lap main events for the ‘410’ sprint cars – each paying $2,500-to-win.

“We had a tough weekend dealing with the weather” said Danny Holtgraver, “Luckily, Fremont Speedway got their show in the books so we got some lap time there…we are anxious to get back out on the road…’laps’ is what this team needs right now…we have been up and down a lot this year but we don’t let that get to us…we keep moving forward and working hard; that’s all we can do!”

Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing will make their first stop of the upcoming weekend at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday evening, May 17th. The high banked oval will host twin 25-lap main events for the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) ‘410’ sprint cars on Friday night; with each awarding $2,500 to the winner. Danny Holtgraver is a former winner at the Attica Raceway Park; capturing an UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions main event over Labor Day Weekend during the 2012 season. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has never won a main event during F.A.S.T. competition, and hopes to sweep the evening this Friday night at the Attica Raceway Park. Holtgraver’s most recent results during Fremont/Attica Sprint Title competition include a fifteenth (15th) place finish this past Saturday night, May 11th, at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio during the 30-lap, F.A.S.T. main event.

“We had a bad night at Fremont last Saturday; bottom line.” explained Holtgraver, “We qualified in a bad spot and unfortunately that put us in the back of the main event…we ended up being fifteenth but that’s not where we wanted to end up…we’ll just keep plugging away at it and hopefully we get everything turned around…it’s going to take some time!”

On Saturday evening, May 18th, Danny Holtgraver will return to UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions competition for another round of ‘Ohio Region’ action. The series will visit the I-77 Raceway Park in Ripley, West Virginia this Saturday evening for the first time in the facility’s history. This will be the first and only stop at the I-77 Raceway Park for the UNOH All Stars in 2013. The 3/8’s mile dirt oval will welcome all of the stars of ‘America’s Series’ including Dale Blaney, Tim Shaffer, Cap Henry, Danny Holtgraver, and Caleb Helms. Danny Holtgraver will enter the UNOH All Star – ‘Ohio Region’ event fourth (4th) in the current UNOH All Star ‘National’ standings, and fourteenth (14th) in the current UNOH All Star ‘Ohio Region’ standings. The pilot of the B&R Racing ‘45’ is still winless in 2013 with the series, and hopes to change that statistic this Saturday evening.

“We are due for a win!” said Holtgraver, “We are way overdue for a win so hopefully we can roll into I-77 Raceway Park with lots of momentum and a full head of steam…this team works really hard and I can’t thank them enough for what they do…Chris Bowe, Brian Kemenah; my owners, Bryan Grove and Rob Hunter…it’s been a tough year on us mentally, but we keep moving forward and keep working hard…takes time but we’ll get there!”
