Greg Hodnett, Donny Schatz and Rain Are Weekend Winners
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars Series started the weekend off early with a Thursday night show at Lincoln Speedway. Greg Hodnett ran his win total for the year up to five with the Thursday victory. Friday was the first of a two day World of Outlaws show at Williams Grove Speedway. Mother Nature doesn’t seem to like Friday’s as a thunderstorm rolled through and cancelled the evenings action. That turned the Williams Grove show in to a one day World of Outlaws show on Saturday where Donny Schatz found victory lane for the 2nd time this year at the speedway.
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars continue next weekend with Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night July 26th. Lincoln and Port Royal Speedway’s will both be back in action on Saturday July 27th with Path Valley Speedway hosting a Sunday night show on July 28th.
Fred Rahmer holds the lead in the series points over Brent Marks, with Greg Hodnett moving up to third.
