Justin Whitesell Ready For A Weekend At The Little Guy Nationals!

Austintown, OH (9/19/2012) – Austintown, Ohio native and regional Outlaw Sprint Warrior/305 sprint car competitor, Justin Whitesell, is ready for a weekend at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The ‘Little Guy Nationals’ is on the weekend agenda for ‘The Man From Austintown’ – beginning Friday evening, September 21st, and wrapping up on Saturday, September 22nd. Both evening’s at Mercer Raceway Park will feature a full program for the Outlaw Sprint Warrior/305 competitors; equaling a total winner’s share of $1,200. Whitesell is a former winner at Mercer Raceway Park in Outlaw Sprint Warrior/305 competition, and hopes to earn a weekend sweep this Friday and Saturday.
“We want to go to Mercer and have a solid weekend” explained Whitesell about the upcoming ‘Little Guy Nationals’, “This is a pretty big event for us 305/Outlaw Sprint Warrior guys…my goal is to go up there and stay clean and consistent…hopefully we can make a victory lane appearance during one of the two evenings!”
Racing this weekend at Mercer Raceway Park will kick-off on Friday evening, September 21st, for the 305/OSW competitors. Friday night’s ‘Little Guy Nationals’ program will feature a 20 lap, $500-to-win main event for the sprint car teams. Action on Saturday evening, September 22nd, will also feature a full racing program for the 305/Outlaw Sprint Warrior teams; highlighted with a 25 lap main event paying $700 to the winner. Whitesell has visited Mercer Raceway Park victory lane on a few occasions during his young career, and hopes to use recent experience and momentum to put his FullyInjected.com/Superior Auto Body/ 5.3 liter GM powered sprint car up front this weekend. ‘The Man From Austintown’ also owns a victory at Sportsmans Speedway in Knox, Pennsylvania this season.
On Friday, pit gates open at 3:00 p.m. hot laps are at approximately 6:15 p.m. Racing will begin at 7:00 p.m. Pit pass is $30 on Friday and $35 on Saturday. Bring your wrest band from Friday show and get $5.00 off on Saturday. On Saturday, pit gates will open at noon.
