‘Super 87’ Fifth in Current Central PA Point Standings

Denver, PA (July 23rd, 2014) – After scoring two (2) top-five finishes against the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series during their recent three-race central Pennsylvania swing, Alan Krimes will waste no time celebrating and return to competition in the heart of ‘Posse Country’ this Friday and Saturday, July 25th & 26th at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. Krimes, who pilots the Midnite Antiques, Conestoga Valley Garage, Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, no. 87 ‘410’ sprint car week-in and week-out in central Pennsylvania, finds himself well inside the top-five of the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway championship chases, and will continue his trek towards overall championships at both facilities this Friday and Saturday.

Alan Krimes will kick-off his upcoming weekend on Friday evening, July 25th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The world-famous half-mile oval will showcase the ‘410’ sprints on Friday night; complete with a full program of heat races, consolation and main event. Krimes currently sits fourth (4th) in the Williams Grove Speedway ‘410’ track championship standings; trailing current point leader Greg Hodnett by 460 markers.

Krimes will continue his upcoming weekend on Saturday evening, July 26th with a visit to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The two-time Lincoln Speedway winner in 2014 finds himself in sole command of the current ‘410’ track championship standings at the Pigeon Hills oval; on top by 200 points over former multi-time track champion, Brian Montieth. Like Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln will showcase the ‘410’ sprints on Saturday night; complete with a full program of heat races and main event.

During recent sprint car competition, Alan Krimes secured two (2) top-five finishes with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series on Thursday and Saturday, July 17th & 19th. ‘Super’ Alan Krimes finished third (3rd) against ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ on Thursday evening, July 17th at the Lincoln Speedway; all before repeating similar success on Saturday evening, July 19th with a fifth (5th) place performance at the Williams Grove Speedway. The podium finish on Thursday evening in the Pigeon Hills was a career high for Alan Krimes, as he continues to chase that first-career WoO STP victory.

‘Super’ Alan Krimes will enter the upcoming weekend fifth (5th) in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL PA SPRINT CAR SERIES Presented by Hoseheads.com point standings with 483 points; on the strength of two (2) Central Pennsylvania victories.
