Max Stambaugh Will Open Ohio Season at Attica on March 27th
NRA Invaders Season Opens April 17th at Limaland

Elida, Ohio (February 24th, 2015) – After having to miss an opportunity to kick start the 2015 season in Florida, Max Stambaugh will turn his attention towards a new starting point; Attica Raceway Park. The Elida, Ohio native will begin his 2015 campaign officially at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday, March 27th during their season opening program. Stambaugh will pilot the Specialized Therapy, Biggies Coast to Coast, Triple JJJ, Tim Hogan’s Carpet, no. 6M ‘410’ sprinter during the 2015 lid lifter; his first of many potential ‘410’ starts in 2015. Despite opening the season with ‘410’ sprint car competition, Stambaugh will still focus the majority of his upcoming season around ‘360’ sprint car action; chasing a 2015 NRA ‘360’ Sprint Invaders championship.
“I had to miss out on my Florida plans due to my work schedule” explained Stambaugh, “I was a little disappointed, but it gave us more time to prepare for the rest of the season…we’ll start the year at Attica Raceway Park…it’s a competitive track and a lot of fun…we’ll race the ‘410’ stuff as much as we can while still chasing the NRA ‘360’ championship…I am definitely looking forward to having Jody Long back at being crew chief…Derrik Long and Trey Bowman will be helping us out too this year…we have a new Hampshire Engine ready to go…we can’t wait to get started.”
The Attica Raceway Park will host a regular program on March 27th featuring the ‘410’ and ‘305’ sprint cars, as well as UMP late models. Max Stambaugh’s NRA ‘360’ Sprint Invaders schedule will not ignite until Friday, April 17th at the Limaland Motorsports Park near Lima, Ohio. The 2015 NRA season is comprised of 25 dates stretching from April until early October; showcasing events at Limaland Motorsports Park, Eldora Speedway, Waynesfield Raceway Park and Montpelier Motor Speedway. Stambaugh is the defending NRA ‘360’ Sprint Invaders championship runner-up.
