North Jackson, OH (April 9th, 2013) – With the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions on break until their Central Pennsylvania road trip for ‘Eastern Region’ competition on Friday and Saturday, April 26th & 27th; North Jackson, Ohio’s Jack Sodeman Jr. will use the time-off to his advantage, and spend two consecutive weekends competing at very familiar Western Pennsylvania ovals. Sodeman Jr., who is a full-time ‘Ohio Region’ and ‘Eastern Region’ competitor with the UNOH All Stars in 2013, will make appearances at the Mercer Raceway Park and Lernerville Speedway during the next two weekends. The former winner at both Western Pennsylvania ovals hopes to value from his upcoming track time close-to-home, and better prepare himself for the very busy UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ schedule that remains.

“It will be nice getting back to Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park again” explained Sodeman, “I have had some success at both tracks and we really like going there…hopefully we can get some more track time under our belt this weekend…that’s something we really want to focus on…getting a win or two would be great but getting more seat time is what we need at this point in the season…I can’t thank the Rudzik’s enough for this opportunity…it’s going to be a fun season!”

Jack Sodeman Jr., who pilots the Rudzik Racing, Rudzik Excavating, Economy Tooling, Glassmere Fuel Services, no. 94 ‘410’ sprint car, will kick off his upcoming weekend by visiting the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, April 13th. The Mercer oval will welcome all of their weekly divisions for the first time in 2013 this Saturday evening; including the Luxaire Heating and Cooling ‘410’ sprint cars. Sodeman Jr. has made countless appearances at the 3/8’s mile dirt oval during his career, and owns multiple main event victories. Incidentally, the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions are scheduled to make a stop at the Mercer Raceway Park on Saturday, May 11th; giving Sodeman five thousand more reasons to benefit from his future track time.

The Rudzik/Sodeman ‘94’ duo will close out their upcoming weekend at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon, April 14th. The ‘Steel City Stampede’ is on deck at the Sarver oval; an annual Lernerville Speedway multi-division event that was originally scheduled for October 2012. The ‘Steel City Stampede’ will be a feature-only format for the ‘410’ sprint cars on Sunday; with their preliminary heat races already completed. Jack Sodeman Jr. is scheduled to start the ‘Steel City Stampede’ main event from the outside of row number three. Like Mercer Raceway Park, the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will be making a May visit to the Lernerville Speedway; giving Sodeman more reason to profit from his upcoming schedule. The former Sharon Speedway Track Champion also owns multiple ‘410’ wins at the world-famous Sarver oval.

“The next two weekends will prepare us for a lot of big races” said Sodeman, “Getting two races in at Lernerville and Mercer Raceway Park each will help us prepare for the upcoming All Star races…we want to be able to put on a good show in front of our Lernerville and Mercer fans…getting a win in the near future would do a lot for our confidence too…we’ll keep working hard and hopefully things go our way!”

Jack Sodeman Jr. will then return to the Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park on Friday and Saturday, April 19th & 20th, for two more ‘weekly’ programs. The ’94’ team will look to earn their first victory of the 2013 season sometime within the next two weeks.
