Fremont, OH (July 19th, 2014) – Despite overnight rains and a lengthy delay due to sloppy track conditions, Night #13 of the 2014 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series schedule was completed as scheduled. Thirty-one (31) Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service ‘410’ sprint cars signed in for action at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, July 19th; including most recent series winner, Craig Mintz.

Rob Chaney kicked off the evening’s program by setting the fastest time of the night during F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series qualifying; recording an official time of 12.668 seconds around the Fremont Speedway oval. Caleb Griffith, Chad Kemenah, Christopher Bell and Bryan Sebetto rounded out the top-five fastest qualifiers. Four (4) F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series heat races were conducted; transferring the top four (4) finishers to the evening’s 30-lap/$2,500-to-win main event. Cap Henry, Duane Zablocki, Brian Lay and Cale Thomas each earned victories during their respective heat races.

Todd Heller, who finished third during his respective heat race and recorded the sixth fastest time during qualifying time trials, earned the evening’s F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series dash victory; granting him the pole position in the 30-lap/$2,500-to-win Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service main event.

After not transferring through heat race competition, Christopher Bell got his second chance and earned a starting position in the 30-lap main event by way of B-main. Bell would earn the consolation B-main victory; Brad Bowman, Stuart Williams and Broc Martin would also transfer to the ‘A’ via consolation B-main. Caleb Griffith, who was scheduled to start on the pole of the B-main, would get upside-down during the initial start; he would fail to finish. Griffith was third in the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series standings entering tonight’s program.

When it was all said and done, it was Rob Chaney who picked up the Night #13 Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service main event win worth $2,500. Chaney survived multiple cautions and three (3) red flags to claim his first F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series victory of the 2014 season. Chad Kemenah would rally to second; followed by Cap Henry. Cole Duncan and Todd Heller rounded out the top-five finishers. Brian Lay, who started the 30-lap feature event from the nineteenth position, rallied ten (10) spots to finish ninth; resulting in being awarded the ‘hard charger.’
