Satterlee Aims To Prevail At Upcoming Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Shows

Rochester Mills, PA (July 19, 2013) If you were hoping to see Pennsylvania Late Model Star Gregg Satterlee on the track this weekend, you might guess again. The 28 year old driver is taking the weekend off. Why? He’ll tell you “The Lucas tour is in town next weekend at two tracks which I’ve had a lot of success at, Roaring Knob and Hagerstown.” The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series (LODLMS) will visit Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex and Hagerstown Speedway with a pair of $10,000-To-Win events on Friday and Saturday, July 26/27.

Satterlee is no stranger to either track, earning a 5th place finish at Hagerstown on April 20 during a LODLMS event, coupled with a 2nd place finish at the ½ mile oval in Hagerstown, MD back on June 1, during the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek. That same week, Gregg picked up his third win of the season on June 3 at Roaring Knob, located in Markleysburg, PA. He would go on to claim the title of Appalachian Mountain Speedweek Champion.

The team’s shop has been quite active as they are diligently preparing a brand new #22 Rocket Chassis for these events. Crew Chief Robbie Allen stated “We’ve been working hard to get this new car ready and I’m sure that we’ll have things dialed in.” Satterlee noted that “Robbie has done a great job for us. He really has been a great asset to our program. Both he and Brian Daugherty are at the top of their games and I can’t thank them enough.” Daugherty is owner of Daugherty Motorsports and is one of the industry’s leading shock tuners.

When asked about the upcoming shows, ‘The Truth’ stated “These are two of my favorite tracks to run at and I’d really like to grab a win against the Lucas guys.” Satterlee summed things up with “We’re having a good season and have run against the best of the best. Now it’s time to beat the best!!”
