Vermeer Motorsports activates 2026 with top-ten at Volusia; Talladega and Magnolia ahead

MIFFLINTOWN, Pa. (March 3, 2026) – Although the High Limit Racing season has yet to commence, Vermeer Motorsports and veteran ace Kerry Madsen, full-time High Rollers in 2026, decided to activate their year ahead of time, ultimately joining the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for the two-day Bike Week Jamboree at Volusia Speedway Park on Sunday and Monday, March 1-2.

Although a tough start to their venture that ended in an unfortunate “DNF,” battling well inside the top-ten beforehand, Vermeer Motorsports and Madsen rebounded in a big way, eventually concluding their trip to Barberville, Florida, with a top-ten outcome on Monday, March 2. The team finished ninth officially, maintaining their place within the top-ten after starting from the outside of row four.

Before making their way further west to join High Limit in Las Vegas, Nevada, Vermeer Motorsports and Kerry Madsen will make two additional pit stops, rejoining the Greatest Show On Dirt for a double in the deep south.

“Overall, a sound weekend for our TK Concrete, Maxima Trucking & Materials, Logan Contractors team. We obviously wanted solid results, but our main goal was to shake things down and make sure we were ready to go when the High Limit Racing season gets started,” Tye Wolfgang, the team’s Crew Chief, explained. “Happy where we are as a team. We still have some things to work out, but Tony Vermeer gives us the tools necessary to be successful. We’re out here to prove a point.”

ON DECK:
Kerry Madsen and Vermeer Motorsports will continue their 2026 season with World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competition at Talladega Short Track and Magnolia Motor Speedway on March 6-7.

High Limit Racing’s SugarBee Blackjack Bash – their season opener – at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dirt Track in Las Vegas, Nevada, is set for March 12-14.
