VINCENTOWN, N.J. (May 31, 2022) – Justin Whittall has been turning a lot of heads in 2022, and that was certainly the case yet again during the recent weekend with the Vincentown, New Jersey, native securing back-to-back Bob Weikert Memorial A-Main starts against the All Star Circuit of Champions, highlighting the pair with a top-ten result during the weekend preliminary on Saturday, May 28. Impressive enough, over 40 drivers made the call during both programs including Posse, All Stars, and a few national invaders.

Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, No. 67 sprint car, finished ninth in his top-ten appearance, earning the pole position for the $10,000-to-win program by way of feature redraw. The eighth-fastest time overall, as well as a sixth-place finish during heat race action, was solid enough to solidify a redraw position.

Although missing the top-ten, Whittall’s performance in the $29,000-to-win Bob Weikert Memorial finale was impressive in its own right, recovering to finish 13th after starting 17th on the A-Main grid. Whittall was 20th-quick overall and finished third in his heat to qualify.

Not an All Star program, Whittall kicked-off his Memorial Day weekend in Central Pennsylvania with a Thursday night visit to Selinsgrove Speedway, finishing seventh in a non-stop 25-lapper.

“It was a solid weekend for our team and I’m proud of our accomplishments. We’ve been having a solid year and our confidence is continuing to build,” Whittall explained, a winner at Williams Grove Speedway in 2021. “I can’t thank everyone enough for their support. I’m excited to see what we can do during the busy summer stretch.”
