Upper northeast 410 sprint car teams, and fans, will have their hands full with more than just cold temperatures in the coming weeks; as two Mid-Atlantic facilities will showcase the best sprint car teams in the region on Saturday and Sunday, November 12th and 13th, for two highly competitive, high paying events.

Susquehanna Speedway Park in York Haven, Pennsylvania will end the Pennsylvania racing season officially in 2011 with the ‘Final Showdown’ on Saturday, November 12th. The 4/10’s mile dirt oval will pay $5,000 to the winner of the ‘Final Showdown’ 410 sprint car event – as long as that driver was pre-entered before November 8th. All teams who did not pre-enter for the event will only be eligible to win $4,000. The 360 sprint cars are invited to compete with the 410 sprints that Saturday afternoon – and are also eligible for a $250 bonus to the highest pre-entered finisher.

The 358 sprint cars will also be on the card next Saturday at Susky. A 20 lap feature paying $2,000 to the winner will be the highlight of their program. Racing is set to begin at 2:00PM sharp!

Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland will end all short track action in the entire Mid-Atlantic region for 2011 with the $10,000 to win, 50 lap sprint car portion of the annual ‘Octoberfest 350’ on Sunday, November 13th.

Due to other scheduling, the 410 Sprints ONLY will run their qualifying events and feature on Sunday. All other divisions will run their qualifying events Saturday and applicable features Sunday. This will allow 410 teams to participate in the Susquehanna event as well.

Sprint car teams who plan to compete in both programs stand eligible to win $15,000 over the course of two days!
