Hermitage, PA (September 12th, 2013) – Third generation sprint car driver and multi-time Mercer Raceway Park winner, Adam Kekich, will be back in action behind the wheel of his familiar ‘5K’ sprinter this Friday and Saturday, September 13th & 14th; this time at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. Kekich, who pilots the familiar Kekich Racing, Sunburst Environmental, Tight Seal Glass Block, Hermitage Agway, Sniezek Cabinets, Designing Women Hair Styling, no. 5K ‘410’ sprint car, will participate in two full programs this Friday and Saturday at the Fremont Speedway oval; going head-to-head against the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions during the 6th Annual ‘Jim Ford Classic’ weekend. Adam Kekich has been in action at the Fremont Speedway on a few occasions already in 2013; qualifying for two (2) consecutive UNOH All Star main events back in May. ‘Jim Ford Classic’ action with the UNOH All Stars at the Fremont Speedway is set to kick-off on Friday evening, September 13th with a $3,000-to-win preliminary program.

The ‘Jim Ford Classic’ weekend will be headlined with the infamous 50-lap, $10,000-to-win UNOH All Star main event on Saturday evening, September 14th. Tim Shaffer, a fellow Western Pennsylvania native, is the defending ‘Jim Ford Classic’ 50-lap feature winner. Adam Kekich, who recently wrapped-up his 2013 Mercer Raceway Park season fourth (4th) in the final driver standings, has never won an UNOH All Star main event, but plans to put himself in contention for a victory this weekend at the Fremont oval. In addition, the two-day ‘Jim Ford Classic’ program will also feature a $5,000 point fund going towards the top-ten drivers after two nights of competition.

Kekich owns two (2) career ‘410’ wins at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania; and also owns one (1) career ‘305’ sprint car victory at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Other 2013 season highlights for Adam Kekich and Kekich Racing include qualifying for two consecutive UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions main events at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio; as well as earning an UNOH All Star heat race win at the Mercer Raceway Park.
