AERO RACE WHEELS BECOMES THE OFFICIAL RACING WHEELS OF SWEENEY RUSH SPORTSMAN MODIFIEDS IN 2014; CONTRIBUTOR AT MFG NIGHT & TOUR EVENT CERTIFICATES

(Pulaski, PA)…As the excitement continues to grow for the inaugural Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Sportsman Modified season, Directors Vicki Emig and Mike Leone are proud to announce AERO Race Wheels has been named the Series’ “Official Racing Wheels”. AERO will be major contributor on the “Manufacturers Night” in addition to providing certificates at each Sweeney Tour event.
The Northeast-style dirt Modified division will debut in 2014 at many of the regional speedways and will feature GM 602 crate engines ($3,250 through Sweeney’s Pace Performance), spec Hoosier Tires on steel wheels, and affordable and long-lasting Bilstein “sealed” shocks ($135).
In 2013, sister series Sweeney RUSH Dirt Late Models gave away over $30,000 in product at “Manufacturers Night” at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway. A similar night guaranteeing over $5,000 of product will be held for the Sweeney RUSH Sportsman Modifieds at Lernerville Speedway at a date to be announced. AERO’s contribution to this event will be eight RUSH-legal steel wheels as four lucky drivers will each receive a pair of wheels.
In addition, AERO Racing Wheels has provided the Sweeney RUSH Sportsman Modified Series with 18 $40 gift certificates toward the purchase of wheels. These will be given away randomly at each Sweeny Tour event in 2014.
“A large part of the success of the RUSH Dirt Late Model Series has been the influx of thousands of dollars of actual product giveaways to our racers,” explained Emig. “We have made a commitment to our Modified racers to build these same type of programs into their Series. The 2014 season for the Sweeney RUSH Sportsman Modifieds will get underway with a Weekly Series event on Saturday, April 26 at Sharon Speedway. Member racers can begin to accumulate points to the inaugural championship that will distribute a minimum of $10,000 to the top 15 drivers.
2014 membership forms are available online under the membership link at www.rushsportsmanmods.com. Membership cost is $125, which makes driver eligible for the Series point fund, $100,000 of additional excess participant accident insurance over and above driver’s health insurance and/or speedway’s policy, as well as additional perks.
Both Precise Racing Products and Big Daddy’s Speed Center have offered a 5% discount on all racing parts (excluding the sealed Bilstein shock, fuel, and tires) for the entire 2014 season to all RUSH Sportsman Modified member drivers!
