Denver, PA (August 28th, 2013) – ‘Super’ Alan Krimes will participate in three (3) ‘410’ sprint car events this Friday through Sunday, August 30th through September 1st; making for a very busy, yet typical, Labor Day weekend in Central Pennsylvania. Krimes, who pilots the familiar Krimes Racing Engines no. 87 ‘410’ sprinter all around Central Pennsylvania, will visit the Williams Grove Speedway and the Lincoln Speedway during the upcoming holiday weekend; with Williams Grove Speedway hosting the ‘410’ sprinters on two separate occasions for two very sentimental events.

Krimes, who is a recent winner at the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, will kick-off his Labor Day weekend this Friday evening, August 30th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania with the ‘Jack Gunn Memorial’ worth $6,000 to the main event winner. The prestigious ‘Jack Gunn Memorial’ used to feature triple features for the ‘410’ sprint cars during the annual event, but recently made a format change to the now single, 30-lap feature worth $6,000. Once ‘Jack Gunn Memorial’ action is complete, the Denver, Pennsylvania-based race team will make the tow to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, August 31st for the final points race of their 2013 ‘regular’ season. Krimes is a multi-time winner at the Pigeon Hills 3/8’s mile oval in 2013, and hopes to wrap-up his 2013 Lincoln Speedway season inside the top three of the final Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ driver standings. The Krimes Racing Engines ‘87’ team will wrap-up their Labor Day weekend with a trip back to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Sunday evening, September 1st for the ‘Billy Kimmel Memorial.’

The pilot of the Krimes Racing Engines/Wayne Corini ‘87’ team will enter the weekend sixth (6th) in the current Williams Grove Speedway ‘410’ driver standings, and third (3rd) in the current Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ driver standings. Alan Krimes owns five (5) victories thus far in 2013 during ‘410’ sprint car competition; three (3) at the Lincoln Speedway and two (2) at the Williams Grove Speedway. The five (5) total victories, along with countless top-five and top-ten finishes, plants Krimes among the top-five drivers in the current Central PA sprint car standings. For more information regarding the events this weekend at the Williams Grove Speedway and/or Lincoln Speedway, please visit them online at www.williamsgrove.com and/ or www.lincolnspeedway.com.

Alan Krimes would like to thank, and welcome, Wayne Corini and his son to the ‘87’ team. They are the new and proud supporters of Alan Krimes and the Krimes Racing Engines ‘87’ operation.

The Krimes Racing Engines/Mike’s Powerwash ‘87’ team will be a part of all of the action each and every weekend in the heart of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory.
