Dale Blaney in competition earlier this year – Rick Rarer Photo

Dale Blaney, and the rest of the All-Star Circuit of Champions, have a lot to look forward too in the next couple of weeks. Eight races in the next 3 weeks will highlight the ‘Great Plains’ portion of the All-Star schedule; which is ordinarily referred too as the “Thunder Through the Plains.” $5,000 to win shows will primarily make up the upper-midwest swing, which also includes the $10,000 to win Front-Row Challenge at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa. “America’s Series” kicks off action tonight at the Red-River CO-OP Speedway in Winnepeg, Canada. Tracks that are also included in this portion of the schedule consist of: Husets Speedway, Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo, ND, Knoxville Raceway, Southern Iowa Speedway, and Amsoil Speedway in Wisconsin. Some of the facilities, such as Red River Valley Speedway and Husets Speedway, will be visited more than once. Dale Blaney currently leads the national points chase over 2-time champion, Tim Shaffer, David Gravel, Cap Henry, and Jessica Zemken. Fully Injected’s own, Danny Holtgraver, currently sits in 9th position in the national All-Star points chase; as well as being 4th in the Ohio region standings. The tour will take a pause August 10th through the 13th so that teams may compete at the 51st Annual Knoxville Nationals.

Check back later this evening for updates from Red-River CO-OP Speedway.
