Rimersburg, Pennsylvania native Scott Priester opened his 2012 campaign with a top 15 finish. The driver of the Dionise Racing no. 15 finished 13th in tonight’s Mercer Raceway Park, 25 lap, sprint car main event. The western Pennsylvania sprint car veteran had to do it the hard way this evening, and come through the consolation B-main. Jared Miley finished third earlier tonight at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania. The South Park, Pennsylvania native started this evening’s super late model main event in the runner-up position, but suffered from a ‘lack of horsepower’ and had to settle for third. Miley finished 2nd in his respective super late model heat race.
Allison Park, Pennsylvania’s Colton Flinner finished 5th in the pro late/crate late model feature earlier this evening at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. The defending track champion at Pittsburgh’s ‘Monster Half Mile’ will look to continue this consistency – and hopefully defend his track title.
