With most of the Fully Injected team, including Danny Holtgraver, Rod George, Scott Priester, and Brandon Matus, sticking around home this weekend to compete at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening and Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania on Saturday for the All-Star event; I decided to drive in the complete opposite direction to get my World of Outlaws fix for a 2nd consecutive weekend. The “Greatest Show on Dirt” will hit the Attica Raceway Park bullring in Attica, Ohio this Friday, May 20th. Joey Saldana still sits on top of the poitns standings. It will be a grueling 40 lap event paying $10,000 to the winner. Interestingly enough, Attica Raceway Park has decided to give the local competitors an extra incentive to win this Friday night by adding a $2,500 bonus to the winner’s share. In order to receive the bonus, the driver must be inside the top 25 in Attica Raceway Park track points and a non regular on the World of Outlaws tour. Guy Webb of the All Star Circuit of Champions also decided to be generous and add an extra $1,000 to that bonus; creating a possible $13,500 winner’s share to any non outlaw winner this Friday at Attica Raceway Park- who might also be in the top 10 in All Star points. With the All Stars having an off day on Friday night, and the Attica promoter paying for all of his local competitor’s Dirtcar memberships so that they may compete Friday evening, you better believe there’s going to be one heck of a field at the northwest Ohio bullring!

Saturday will be a “day off” in some respect, as I, a long with some friends, will be taking advantage of Cedar Point being in the near distance and spending the day at “America’s Roller Coast.” If a rainy day would occur, then its off to Mercer to see if we can’t get some sprint car racin’ in if roller coasters are out of the question.
