SHREVE, Ohio (April 8, 2019) – Knocking the rust off is never easy, but Shreve, Ohio’s Trevor Baker made the most of his attempt by scoring a top-ten performance during FAST Series competition at Atomic Speedway on Saturday, April 6.
Baker, driver of the T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Coblentz Trucking/H&S Concrete/Mid Ohio Diesel/Amsoil Stone Creek Lube/No. 45 sprint car, finished eighth, officially, during his 2019 debut, rallying from the inside of row seven to accomplish his feat.
Baker has always had a soft spot for Atomic Speedway. In 2018, Baker won an All Star Circuit of Champions heat race at the Chillicothe highbanks during Ohio Sprint Speedweek.
“That was a great way to get our season going,” Trevor Baker said about his visit to Chillicothe, Ohio’s Atomic Speedway. “It’s never easy jumping back in a sprint car after having a few months off, but we made it work. I’m proud of my team and I can’t thank them enough for stepping up and getting me to Atomic. Hopefully we can do it again next weekend.”
Trevor Baker and T-Rev Performance will return to action on Friday and Saturday, April 12 & 13, with visits to Attica Raceway Park and Wayne County Speedway, respectively. Attica will host an Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) event, while Wayne County Speedway will host the Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association (OVSCA); each vital test sessions for Baker as he prepares for upcoming All Star Circuit of Champions events at the aforementioned facilities.
