Baker earns top-ten during Great Lakes Dirt Nationals at Mansfield Motor Speedway

SHREVE, Ohio (August 13, 2018) – Adding depth to his 2018 statistics chart, “T-Rev” Trevor Baker ended his recent weekend once again inside the top-ten, this time during one of the northeast’s most prestigious and high paying sprint car events.
Baker, pilot of the T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Coblentz Trucking/H&S Concrete/Mid Ohio Diesel/Amsoil Stone Creek Lube/Triple-X Chassis/No. 45 sprint car, visited Mansfield (Ohio) Motor Speedway on Friday and Saturday and joined the best of the FAST Series for Great Lakes Dirt Nationals competition. Although weather spoiled action on Friday, August 10, it was Saturday, August 11, that ended well for the former Wayne County Speedway feature winner, finishing ninth during the 40-lap, $20,000-to-win finale after starting from the outside-pole.
Success started early for Baker who won his respective Great Lakes Dirt Nationals heat race just after timing 13th overall during qualifying time trials.
“What a night. I can’t say enough of my team and all of my partners. They do so much for my race team. They make results like this possible,” Baker said, who now owns consecutive top-ten finishes during action at Lernerville Speedway, Wayne County Speedway, and Mansfield Motor Speedway. “We have a lot of racing ahead so hopefully we can keep this consistency going forward. It makes the work a lot more tolerable when success follows the hard work.”
Trevor Baker’s 2018 campaign will continue during the upcoming weekend, potentially joining the All Star Circuit of Champions for a trio of events in New York. If all goes according to plan, Baker will follow Tony Stewart’s All Stars to Utica-Rome Speedway, Orange County Fair Speedway, and Lebanon Valley Speedway on Friday through Sunday, August 17-19.
