MYERSTOWN, Pa. (September 9, 2019) – The ‘Myerstown Missile’ Brent Marks turned three World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series starts into a pair of top-ten outcomes during the recent week, accomplishing those feats during visits to Willamette Speedway in Lebanon, Oregon, on Wednesday, September 4, as well as at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California, on Saturday, September 7.
Marks crossed the line tenth in each of his top-ten finishes during action at Willamette and Silver Dollar, highlighting all results with his top-ten appearance during Silver Dollar Speedway’s prestigious Gold Cup finale on Saturday; there were 29 cars in attendance.
“It was a fun weekend, but we still have a lot left here in California. Our goal is to leave this state with a win,” Brent Marks said, driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19 sprint car. “It’s tough to think we are already into the month of September. We still have a lot on our plate; a lot of time for opportunity.”
Brent Marks will continue his 2019 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with another three race swing in four days, this time kicking things off at Placerville Speedway in Placerville, California, on Wednesday, September 11. The weekend will move to the Stockton Dirt Track in Stockton, California, on Friday, September 13, all capping off with a visit to the scenic Calistoga Speedway in Calistoga, California, on Saturday, September 14.
Brent Marks will enter the three-race swing tenth in the World of Outlaws championship chase.
