Brent Marks Racing Ends Recent Weekend with Back-to-Back Top-Five Finishes
Will Join ‘Outlaws’ in Ohio and Michigan this Friday and Saturday

Myerstown, PA (May 26th, 2015) – After their busy three race stretch during Memorial Day weekend, Brent Marks Racing will hop back on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series trail this Friday and Saturday for a pair of events in Ohio and Michigan. Brent Marks has been an active competitor on the World of Outlaws schedule during the last few weeks; recently joining ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ at The Dirt Track at Charlotte on Friday, May 22nd. Despite the limited experience at the Concord, North Carolina facility, Marks was able to rally five positions during the $12,000-to-win main event and finish 13th in the running order. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania native will be joining the ‘Outlaw’ campaign as much as their schedule allows for the remainder of the 2015 season.
“It was a pretty good weekend for the most part” said Brent Marks, “We want to race with the Outlaws as much as we can this year…getting to travel south to Charlotte was pretty important to us…we don’t have a ton of experience there, so getting some additional laps is always important…we’ll be back this November for the World Finals so we’ll revert back to our notes and try to improve…we are excited to rejoin the Outlaws this weekend…the competition level is high and we learn a lot every time we hit the track with them…we’ll race with them as much as we can.”
Brent Marks Racing will join the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series this Friday and Saturday, May 29th & 30th at the Attica Raceway Park and I-96 Speedway. The series will stop at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday evening, followed by a trip north across state lines to the I-96 Speedway near Lake Odessa, Michigan on Saturday. The Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, ‘19M’ team will use momentum from the recent weekend to try and snag their first World of Outlaws A-main victory later this week.
Besides his trip to The Dirt Track at Charlotte, Marks entered action at two Pennsylvania ovals during Memorial Day weekend; beginning with the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 23rd. The ‘Myerstown Missile’ finished fifth during the $5,000-to-win ‘Fallen Heroes Championship’ at ‘The Speed Palace’ on Saturday night. Marks has been ultra-competitive at the Port Royal half-mile in 2015; earning multiple top-five finishes and three podiums.
Brent Marks capped off his long holiday weekend with a runner-up finish during the annual Ray Tilley Classic at the Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania on Sunday, May 24th. Marks, the 2013 winner of the annual event, started tenth during the 35-lap, $5,000-to-win program; rallying eight positions to finish behind winner Greg Hodnett. The long list of top-five and top-ten finishes in the ‘Keystone State’ has allowed the ‘Missile’ to solidify himself fourth in the central Pennsylvania point standings.
