MIDDLEBOURNE, WV – Tim McCreadie and Bub McCool already have their tickets for the inaugural ‘Bullring Bonanza’ contest on Sat., May 26, at Tyler County Speedway. Rick Eckert, Chub Frank, Clint Smith and Mark Richards are among the other World of Outlaws Late Model Series personalities who plan to buy theirs this week.

Time is running out for fans and racers to get in on the quarter-mile oval’s unique event, an extravaganza that combines music, food, camping, WoO LMS racing and a lottery-style drawing offering over $550,000 in cash and prizes, including a $50,000 cash grand prize. Just 10,000 tickets are being sold for the ‘Bonanza’ raffle, which benefits the Tyler County Fireman’s Association, and Circle Track Management Group officials said the cut-off point for sales is quickly approaching.

The $100 ‘Bonanza’ tickets, which are still available for purchase on-line at www.BullringBonanza.org, by phone at 304-771-5661 and 304-758-4411 or at participating retailers, include all-access admission (pits and grandstands) to Saturday night’s WoO LMS ‘Jackpot 100.’ All of the national tour’s stars and dozens of regional and local standouts will chase a $25,000 first-place check – the third-largest winner’s share on the 2012 World of Outlaws schedule – from the total purse of nearly $150,000 posted for the inaugural event. Just starting the A-Main will be worth a cool $2,000.

“All systems are go and the excitement is building for the ‘Bullring Bonanza,'” said Tyler County Speedway co-promoter Daniel Patterson. “This is something that’s never been done before at a dirt track so it’s really gotten everybody talking. We’re looking forward to a real fun weekend that will be topped off by some great World of Outlaws racing on the ‘Bullring.'”

The ‘Bonanza’ officially kicks off on Fri., May 25, with a full day of activities on the fairgrounds, including a swap-meet, a cornhole tournament, early-bird raffle drawings and a concert featuring country-music star Craig Morgan and the Davisson Brothers Band. A ‘Bonanza’ ticket is also good for admission to the concert.

While WoO LMS teams will miss the Friday-night concert because the tour will be in action at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, the post-concert Pit Party might still be bouncing along to a D.J.’s beats when the World of Outlaws haulers pull onto the Tyler County grounds sometime in the early-morning hours on Saturday. The WoO LMS competitors holding ‘Bonanza’ tickets will then stay busy on May 26, preparing their cars in the pit area and visiting the big ‘Bonanza’ tent throughout the day to chow down at the huge Quinet’s Famous Catering buffet (included with ticket purchase) and monitor the prize drawing.

The buffet and ‘Bonanza’ raffle will both begin at 11 a.m. and continue through 5 p.m. Numbers will be drawn from a bingo-style machine every five minutes to determine winners of the prizes, which include brand-new Ford and Chevrolet cars and trucks; several Harley-Davidson motorcycles; ATVs; travel trailers; campers; new race cars; trips to locales such as Cancun, Las Vegas, Nashville and DisneyWorld; Cabela’s shopping sprees; and cash awards ranging from $500 to the $50,000 mega-award that closes the proceedings.

Winners need not be present to win, and each ticket is eligible to win more than once. Ticket-holders, who must be at least 18 years of age, will also have opportunities to win a number of side raffles that will take place throughout the day.

A full list of prizes can be viewed on-line at the event’s dedicated Web site, www.BullringBonanza.org.

“This is definitely going to be the biggest event in the history of Tyler County Speedway,” said Patterson. “Race fans won’t want to miss being part of this, so we’re encouraging everyone who’d like to take a shot at winning a big prize to purchase a ‘Bullring Bonanza’ ticket before they’re all sold out.”

Gates to the Speedway are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. on Sat., May 26 – just as the $50,000 grand prize is given away. Hot laps are set to begin at 7 p.m., followed by WoO LMS Ohlins Shocks Time Trials and heats, B-Mains and the ‘Jackpot 100.’ Also on the agenda is the ‘Let It Ride 55’ for the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour.

For ‘Jackpot 100’ attendees who opt to not purchase a ‘Bonanza’ ticket, general admission is $35 and pit passes will be $60. Children 10-and-under will be admitted free of charge.

Fans can reserve a seat for the ‘Jackpot 100’ program in the top four rows of the bleachers for an additional $5 by calling 304-771-5661.

The ‘Bonanza’ drawing will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, Circle Track Management officials will discuss a rain date with WoO LMS personnel.

The Wayne County and I-77 events will be run over the 50-lap distance and pay $10,000 to win.
