Brett Michalski continues to build momentum in Posse Country

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

PENNDEL, Pa. (March 16, 2020) – It was a busy weekend in the Keystone State for Penndel, Pennsylvania’s Brett Michalski, as the former Lincoln Speedway feature winner and Rookie of the Year made his return to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, March 14, soon followed by a stop at the ‘paperclip,’ Williams Grove Speedway, for its season opener on Sunday, March 15.

Back-to-back starts resulted in back-to-back heat race victories for the driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Richboro Pub/Maxim Chassis/Don Ott Racing Engines/Kriner Engines/Penske Shocks/VP Racing Fuels/Hoosier Tire/Wings Unlimited/Racer’s Used and New Parts Warehouse/CR Graphix/SC Signs/Pyrotect/Hinchman Indy/No. 73B sprint car, eventually concluding his feature runs with 15th and 18th-place finishes, respectively. Michalski’s heat race triumphs allowed for a fourth-place start at Lincoln and a fifth-place start at Williams Grove.

Despite Michalski’s end-results falling short of personal goals and expectation, the ‘Penndel Pistol’ was pleased with his team’s overall performance and is already looking forward to making his returns next weekend.

“We were able to put together a lot of speed over the weekend, but a few mistakes put us behind in the features. We know our potential and this weekend reminded us of that,” Michalski said, who will mold much of his focus around Lincoln Speedway’s 2020 schedule. “Regardless, I’m proud of this team and I’m proud of what we were able to accomplish. We’ll do what we can to put ourselves up front next weekend.”

Despite coronavirus concerns looming, Brett Michalski and Brett Michalski Motorsports plan to enter action at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, respectively, during the coming weekend.

Dietrich scores back-to-back top-five finishes during visits to Port Royal and Williams Grove

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (March 16, 2020) – It was another productive weekend in Pennsylvania Posse Country for ‘Double-D’ Danny Dietrich, ultimately capping his two-day run with back-to-back top-five outcomes, highlighting each of his starts with a runner-up performance during Williams Grove Speedway’s season opener on Sunday, March 15.

Perhaps not surprising considering his success rate at the speedway, but Dietrich wasted little time during Williams Grove’s first main event of the year, utilizing the initial start to make an impressive jump from seventh to third in just one circuit.

Continuing his pursuit of the leader, the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania-native then drove around Freddie Rahmer to capture second with just ten laps recorded. Unfortunately, Dietrich was forced to settle back into third when Carson Macedo got by the familiar No. 48 with 16 laps checked off the counter. Not content, Dietrich moved around Ryan Smith, who led much of the program, to regain second shortly thereafter.

One night prior at the Port Royal ‘Speed Palace,’ Dietrich drove from eighth to third during feature competition, forced to battle with Port Royal champion Logan Wagner and former Outlaw Brent Marks along the way. A third-place finish during heat race competition, a product of row four, secured Dietrich’s A-main starting position.

“It was a great weekend for our team. We want to win, but consistency is important. I’m just happy we were able to race,” Danny Dietrich said, driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Sandoe’s Fruit Market/Pace Performance/Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts/Drop Of Ink Tattoo/Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC/Self Made/No. 48 sprint car. “I want to thank the fans for coming out and showing their support. We all know the craziness that’s going on right now, but thank you for showing your support for Central Pennsylvania racing.”

Although Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing plan to continue their 2020 campaign with another visit to Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, March 20, the defending Williams Grove Speedway and Central PA sprint car champions have not announced final plans for Saturday, March 21.

Zearfoss with speed at the ‘Speed Palace’

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (March 16, 2020) – Brock Zearfoss represented his Central Pennsylvania fanbase well on Saturday during his visit to the Port Royal ‘Speed Palace,’ as the former Port Royal Speedway champion put on an impressive afternoon display that included a hard charge from sixth to second during heat race competition, soon followed by a rally from 11th to sixth during A-main action. The result bumped Zearfoss’ top-ten total to seven on the season.

Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./C&D Rigging Inc./ BAPS Auto Paints & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/Klick Lewis Cars/No. 3Z sprint car, capped his recent weekend with a Sunday afternoon visit to Williams Grove Speedway for its season opener on March 15. Despite his end-result equaling a 16th-place finish, the route to get there was hard-fought, as Zearfoss was ultimately forced to compete in the B-main, which he was victorious, after finishing sixth during his respective heat race.

The Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native was battling as high as 12th at The Grove before contact and an eventual spin forced the familiar No. 3Z to resume action at the tail.

“We have a lot of speed, that’s for sure. We just need to find a little bit of good luck and we’ll be just fine,” Brock Zearfoss said, a full-time All Star who will compete in Central PA until the 2020 All Star calendar resumes on April 10. “I have a great team and I’m proud of them. We’re fortunate enough to have a great group of partners who believe in us and never give up on us. I’m confident we’ll be on top soon.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2020 campaign with another doubleheader in the Keystone State, this time visiting Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, March 20, as well as Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, March 21. Michalski scores top-ten during Lincoln Speedway start; Lincoln and Williams Grove ahead

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

PENNDEL, Pa. (March 9, 2020) – It was a breakthrough weekend in the Pigeon Hills for Brett Michalski and Brett Michalski Motorsports, as the Penndel, Pennsylvania-based sprint car team captured their first top-ten performance of the 2020 season, doing so at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday afternoon, March 7.

Michalski, a one-time winner at Lincoln Speedway, as well as a former Rookie of the Year in the 410c.i. ranks, finished eighth during his most recent start at the Central Pennsylvania landmark, doing so after starting fifth on the feature grid. The ‘Penndel Pistol’ kicked-off the afternoon program with a runner-up finish during his respective heat race.

Despite the Saturday afternoon success, history failed to repeat itself on Sunday during Port Royal Speedway’s season opener, as Michalski was unable to transfer out of a stout B-main. There were 46 cars entered for action at the Port Royal ‘Speed Palace.’

“It feels good to finally crack into the top-ten. Central PA is a tough place to race, which means it can be tough to find your groove. Lucky for me, I have a great team that never gives up and we were able to put together a solid outing at Lincoln,” Michalski said, driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Richboro Pub/Maxim Chassis/Don Ott Racing Engines/Kriner Engines/Penske Shocks/VP Racing Fuels/Hoosier Tire/Wings Unlimited/Racer’s Used and New Parts Warehouse/CR Graphix/SC Signs/Pyrotect/Hinchman Indy/No. 73B sprint car. “Eighth is solid, but we want more. We know we have what it takes to win. We’ll try again next Saturday.”

Brett Michalski and Brett Michalski Motorsports will continue their 2020 campaign with another round of action in the Keystone State beginning with one more Saturday afternoon visit to Lincoln Speedway on March 14. The weekend will cap with Williams Grove Speedway’s season opener on Sunday, March 15.

Danny Dietrich rallies for top-five finish at Lincoln Speedway; Upcoming agenda to be determined

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (March 9, 2020) – It was another successful weekend in the Pigeon Hills for ‘Double-D’ Danny Dietrich, this time rallying five positions in 25 laps to finish fourth during main event action. The outcome was a third consecutive top-five result for the nearby Gettysburg-native, kicking-off his Central Pennsylvania season with a victory during the speedway’s $4,000-to-win Icebreaker on February 22.

The former Lincoln Speedway track champion launched his afternoon visit on March 7 with a runner-up performance during his respective heat race.

Dietrich was well on his way to a top-five outcome at Port Royal Speedway on Sunday, March 8, when incidental contact with another competitor forced the driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing No. 48 to spin, ultimately sending Dietrich to the back of the field. The 2019 Central PA champion recovered to finish 14th.

The incident, which occurred in turn three during a battle for seventh and eighth, transpired with only six laps checked off the counter. Dietrich earned his way into the $5,000-to-win main event by way of heat race victory.

“The weekend didn’t end how we wanted, but it felt good to be back to Port Royal. The speed was there,” Danny Dietrich said, driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Sandoe’s Fruit Market/Pace Performance/Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts/Drop Of Ink Tattoo/Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC/Self Made/No. 48 sprint car. “We’re not exactly sure of our plan for next Saturday, but we’ll figure something out pretty quick.”

Although Dietrich’s plan for Saturday, March 14, has yet to be determined, ‘Double-D’ intends on visiting Williams Grove Speedway for its season opener on Sunday afternoon, March 15.

Brock Zearfoss fifth in the Pigeon Hills; Port Royal and Williams Grove next on agenda

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (March 9, 2020)- Although the highlight of Zearfoss’ weekend was a top-five outcome during a Saturday afternoon visit to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway, finishing fifth, officially, after starting sixth on the feature grid, perhaps Zearfoss’ most impressive display was his charge from 15th to eighth in just five circuits during Port Royal Speedway’s season opener on Sunday, March 8.

It was a notable rally, but unfortunately, the momentum boost came to an abrupt halt, as incidental contact with another competitor forced the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native to retire with just six laps recorded. Zearfoss earned his way into the $5,000-to-win Port Royal Speedway lidlifter by way of third place finish during his respective heat race; he started ninth.

In addition to his top-five feature outcome in the Pigeon Hills, the ‘Jonestown Jet’ kicked-off his afternoon visit to Lincoln on March 7 with a victory during his respective heat race.

“We had a lot of speed this weekend. I wish things didn’t end so quickly for us at Port Royal. I think we were good enough to win that race, or at least be close,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./C&D Rigging Inc./BAPS Auto Paints & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/Klick Lewis Cars/No. 3Z sprint car. “I can’t thank this team enough for their hard work so far this season. Things are only going to get busier, but we’re ready for it. I wouldn’t want to be with anyone else.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2020 campaign with another Central Pennsylvania pair, this time returning to the ‘Speed Palace’ that is Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, March 14, followed by the Williams Grove Speedway season opener on Sunday afternoon, March 15. (March 9, 2020) – Despite a slight hiccup on Friday that forced the three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion to restart at the tail of the field, Tony Stewart’s weekend in Louisiana was filled with success, ending his two-day, Bayou State Sprint Car Nationals campaign at Chatham Speedway with back-to-back top-ten outcomes, highlighting each of his United Sprint Car Series (USCS) starts with a fifth place performance on Saturday, March 7. Stewart started eighth on the feature grid, kicking-off the evening with a fourth-place run during his respective heat race, also starting eighth.

The Columbus, Indiana-native launched his weekend at Chatham Speedway with an impressive rally to finish eighth after restarting at the tail of the field. Stewart started on the outside of row three, but was forced to go to the tail after suffering from mechanical misfortune.

Including his Chatham Speedway results, Stewart is now six-for-six in the top-ten column in 2020, five of which top-five results.

“I think we were better than where we finished, but we have a long season ahead and plenty of time to put everything together,” Tony Stewart said, a five-time USCS winner in 2019. “I have a great team that works very hard and I’m more than confident that we’ll be up front very soon.”
