Chase Dietz Back in Lincoln Speedway Victory Lane

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, PA. (July 19, 2016) – For the first time in 2016 and for the second time in his career, Chase Dietz is a 410 sprint car main event winner at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway, this time sweeping the entire July 16 program by capturing a heat race victory in the process.

The York, Pennsylvania, native started third on the feature grid, taking command officially on lap 21 of 25 after a battle with race leader Billy Dietrich. After working around Dietrich in heavy traffic, Dietz would go on to navigate the remaining circuits flawlessly, eventually holding back Dietrich and a hard charging Danny Dietrich at the final checkers. The victory was worth $3,200.

“It was a perfect night for us to earn a win,” Dietz explained. “We drew a great pill to start the evening which put us in a position to win our heat race. It was a hard race with Billy (Dietrich) during the main, but I’m glad we found an opportunity to get around him. I can’t thank my family, crew, and sponsors enough for their support and effort. I want to make a special shout out to my pap and Troy Godfrey. It was our first time winning a 410 feature with this car. That wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s help.”

Despite coming off of a victory, Chase Dietz will not join the “Pennsylvania Posse” and World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at Williams Grove Speedway this Friday and Saturday. Instead, Dietz and the Haas Shocks/Start To Finish Roll Off, LLC/Godfrey Racing Engines/Embee & Sons/Gardy Enterprises/Mark’s Automotive/Pancho’s Race Products/Keizer Wheels/Beer Hill Gang, No. 2D team will enjoy a weekend off.

“I want to welcome Start To Finish Roll Off, LLC to the team,” Dietz said. “They are the newest sponsor to come on board with us this year. We are thrilled to have them be a part of this team. Hopefully we can get the 2D back in victory lane our next time out and welcome them in a big way.”
