Allison Park, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected crate late model competitor, Colton Flinner, anxiously awaits for tomorrow night’s (June 16th) ‘Summer Sizzler’ marquee event – which is round no. 2 of the FASTRAK/Pro Late Model ‘Sizzler Series’ at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. The crate late model event will pay $1,000 to the winner, and will require all participates to lose the roof! The topless – 25 lap crate late model spectacle will also guarantee $100 to each starter. Flinner is win-less at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway thus far in 2012, but looks to change that tomorrow evening by earning the $1,000 top prize.

Flinner, the defending FASTRAK/Pro Late Model champion at PPMS, competes at the giant half-mile outside of Imperial, Pennsylvania on a weekly basis in 2012, and currently sits 2nd in the division standings entering tomorrow night’s program. In Flinner’s most recent start the facility, the recent high school graduate rallied from an 11th place starting spot to earn a top five finish; crossing the start/finish line 4th in the running order. The 4th place finish was Flinner’s second consecutive top five performance at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, and now finds himself within 12 points of the Brougher’s Machine Shop – FASTRAK/Pro Late Model division point lead. Kyle Lukon still holds the top spot.

A competitive roster of local and regional FASTRAK/Pro Late Model teams are expected to be at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ tomorrow evening for the ‘Summer Sizzler.’ Flinner hopes to end his evening $1,000 richer!
