June 7, 2012) Allison Park, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected crate late model star, Colton Flinner, now finds himself a mere 16 points away from taking over the Brougher’s Machine Shop FASTRAK/Pro Late Model point standings at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway! Flinner finished 4th in his most recent start at the monster half mile; holding on for a top five finish from the pole position even while having motor issues. The defending PPMS FASTRAK/Pro Late Model track champion proves to be one of the most consistent competitors in the division; recording top 10 and top 5 finishes in consecutive weeks. Kyle Lukon is the current point leader in the FASTRAK/Pro Late Model division at PPMS; he finished 7th in his most recent start.
Another regular ‘Action Event’ Saturday night awaits Flinner and his familiar black ’75’ on June 9th at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Saturday night’s event will also act as a warm-up and test session for Colton Flinner, as the second PPMS ‘Sizzler Series’ event for the Pro-Late Models will take place at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ on Saturday, June 16th; featuring a $1,000-to-win, 25 lap ‘topless’ main event for the crate late models.
