Tampa, FL (January 31st, 2013) – Allison Park, Pennsylvania native, Colton Flinner, kicked-off his first trip to Tampa, Florida for the 37th Annual East Bay ‘Winternationals’ with a 12th place finish in last night’s FASTRAK Late Model, 30-lap main event. There were 27 cars entered in the $2,000-to-win crate late model program; with drivers from six (6) states making their way to the 1/3 mile clay oval near Tampa, Florida to help kick-off the month long schedule of ‘Winternationals’ action. Mark Whitner was the main event winner; followed by Chris Ferguson and Dennis Franklin.

“The car was awesome and the track was fast!” explained Flinner, “We were battling for a top five position until we ended up being involved in a caution…finished the race twelfth but we are happy with that…can’t wait to go back out and try again tonight!”

Action resumes at East Bay Raceway Park for the FASTRAK Late Models later this evening, February 1st, with another $2,000-to-win program; followed by a $3,000-to-win FASTRAK ‘Winternationals’ finale on Saturday, February 2nd.
