Consistency Is Key; Marks Earns Back-to-Back Top-Ten Finishes
Back to Central PA During Easter Weekend

Myerstown, PA (March 30th, 2015) – Brent Marks Racing continued to display speed and consistency in central Pennsylvania; earning back-to-back top-ten performances, including one top-five finish, during their first double-race weekend of the 2015 season. Brent Marks, driver of the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, no. 19M ‘410’ sprint car, entered competition at the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway during the recent weekend. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania native would finish 7th at ‘The Grove’ on Friday, March 27th and 5th at the Lincoln Speedway on Sunday, March 29th; stretching his top-ten streak to three in a row during his first three starts. Marks will enter the upcoming weekend fourth in the current central Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car standings.
“It was a pretty good weekend…we were pretty happy with our results” explained Brent Marks, “It usually takes a few weekends to get things dialed in but we’ve been pretty good…to be this consistent right from the start says a lot about this team…we had to start back in row six at Williams Grove on Friday…I was pretty aggressive right from the start…I knew the track was going to change a lot so I wanted to climb as many positions as I could…we were probably a little better than seventh but we were happy…at Lincoln, we won our heat, started fifth in the main and finished there…all in all, it was a solid weekend…we have some work to do this week…we’ll try to get that first win of the year next weekend.”
Brent Marks will return to central Pennsylvania this Friday and Saturday, April 3rd & 4th for another double-race weekend in ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ country. Marks will enter competition at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, April 3rd. The Myerstown native will then visit the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 4th; participating in the annual ‘Sprint Spring Championship.’ The ‘Sprint Spring Championship’ will be the first time trial show of the year for ‘BMR.’
“We talked about some other possibilities for the upcoming weekend but we’ll be back in central PA” said Marks, “Lincoln’s race on Saturday is a time trial show…it’s important that we take advantage of that and work on our timing…there are a lot of races on the Lincoln Speedway schedule that use time trials in the format…we want to be ready.”
