York, Pennsylvania – June 12, 2012) York, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected member, Cory Haas, ended his recent weekend swing with the All-Star Circuit of Champions in Central Pennsylvania with a top five performance on Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway. The former ‘358’ sprint car track champion at the Pigeon Hills oval started in row number five of the main event, and climbed his way up to the fourth place position by the time the checkers fell. Haas, who currently sits third in the Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ track standings, ended up destroying a race car on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway during All-Star competition; thus turning the weekend around and ending the weekend on a very solid note.

Haas raced with the All-Star Circuit of Champions on Friday evening, June 8th, at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. A poor qualifying effort would force the familiar Embee and Son sponsored 11c to start towards the back of it’s respective heat race. Haas would fail to transfer from the heat race to the main event, but would earn an A-main qualifying spot by transferring through the All-Star consolation B-main. The 30 lap, $5,000-t0-win All-Star main event would not end so kindly for the York based team, as disaster would strike during a late race restart. Haas would end up getting upside-down, and failing to finish the event.

On Saturday night, June 9th, things would return to normal for the 11C operation. After timing 12th quick out of the 37 All-Star entries at Lincoln Speedway, Haas would finish second in his respective heat race; automatically qualifying for the $5,000-to-win, All-Star Circuit of Champions A-main event. The three-time winner at Lincoln Speedway in 2012 would finish 4th in the main event; finishing just behind winner, Danny Dietrich; runner-up, Alan Krimes; and third place finisher, Fred Rahmer.

It will be business as usual this weekend for Cory Haas and the 11C team. Haas will be at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, June 15th – before making a trip back to the Pigeon Hills on Saturday, June 16th, for night at Lincoln Speedway. Haas currently sits 10th in the Hoseheads Central PA sprint car standings, and third in the current Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ sprint car track standings. The former ‘358’ track champion has 3 wins at the 3/8’s mile oval this season; with nine top 5’s and ten top 10’s!
