Danny Dietrich cruises to podium sweep in Central Pennsylvania

GETTYSBURG, PA (April 17, 2017) – “Double-D” Danny Dietrich earned a podium sweep during his most recent weekend of competition in Central Pennsylvania; finishing no worse than third during his starts at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 14-15, respectively. The Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, native finished second at “The Grove” on Friday evening to kick-off the weekend, followed by a third place performance during the Lincoln Speedway Sprint Spring Championship on Saturday.
With his top-five sweep, Dietrich’s top-five total extends to four at Lincoln Speedway.
“Another great weekend for us. We’ve been on a roll, so the plan is to keep that consistency moving forward. If we want to put ourselves in championship contention anywhere, the consistency has to continue,” Danny Dietrich explained. “My team does one hell of a job keeping the car maintained and right where it needs to be. I don’t think I would be where I am today without their dedication. Also, a big ‘thanks’ to the fans for supporting our team. We’re blessed to have such a big fan base.”
Dietrich, pilot of the Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Sandoe’s Fruit Market/Pace Performance/Gsell’s Whitetails/Hickory Run Orchards/Carlisle Auto Salvage/CATS Used Truck Parts/Drop Of Ink Tattoo/Bowman Block & Head Repair/Sweeney Cars/Self Made/No. 48, will return to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 21-22, working to extend his current Central PA Sprint Cars presented by Hoseheads and Lincoln Speedway championship point leads.
