Friday Night Quick Notes…Hodnett in Victory Lane.

The Pennsylvania Posse kept up their dominating fashion at Williams Grove Speedway this evening during opening night of the World of Outlaws sanctioned Summer Nationals. Greg Hodnett claimed the 25 lap opening night victory over Steve Kinser, Daryn Pittman, Sammy Swindell, and Fred Rahmer. There were 44 cars signed into the pit area this evening including a healthy blend of Posse and Outlaw contenders.

The first annual running of the Morgan Cup saw an Outlaw in victory lane; allowing the Cup to reside at World Racing Group Headquarters in North Carolina for the next year. The 12 lap event went to Bartlett, TN native, Jason Sides- who dominated the 12 lap Morgan Cup race by a full straight-a-way over Stevie Smith.

The World of Outlaws and PA Posse return to competiton tomorrow night again at Williams Grove Speedway for the $20,000 to win Summer Nationals finale.

Team Fully Injected had a wet evening; at least for those racing in western Pennsylvania. Most of the Fully Injected competitors had Lernerville Speedway on the agenda this evening; but a late afternoon thunder shower ended those plans as gates were opening. Rain took victories at Lernerville Speedway; as well as FAST action at Attica Raceway Park.
