Eighteen-year-old, Adam Kekich, is a third generation sprint car driver who resides in Hermitage, Pennsylvania; a nearby neighbor to Mercer and Sharon, PA. The young man currently sits fifth in the Mercer Raceway Park point standings entering this weekend’s All-Star sanctioned event; ranked behind fellow teammates, Scott Priester, Brandon Spithaler, Rod George, and non Injected member, Bob Felmlee – who holds the point lead. Adam expressed excitement when discussing this Saturday’s $5,000 to win event: “I feel really good now that we recently found out why the car hasn’t been feeling right to me…I’m excited and I feel we have a good shot! My goal is to make the show.”

Seventeen-year-old, Brandon Matus, has been experiencing his fair share of the ‘ups and downs’ at Mercer Raceway Park this season. The recent winner at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, expresses some excitement- as well as some anxiety- about the upcoming weekend’s Ohio Region event: “I’m as ready as I’ll ever be! I haven’t had much luck at Mercer lately, so my goal is to make the show…that would make my day!”

Brandon “The Wheelman” Matus currently holds down the sixth spot in the Mercer Raceway Park point standings.
