Gregg Satterlee Looks To Add ‘Pittsburgher’ To His 2012 Season Win List!

Rochester Mills, PA – 9/14/12 – Rochester Mills, Pennsylvania native and Three State Flyers Super Late Model Series point leader, Gregg Satterlee, looks forward to spending the upcoming weekend at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway; beginning tonight, September 14th, with ‘Tri-Star Pittsburgher’ preliminary action. The Western Pennsylvania super late model hotshoe and Team Fully Injected super late model competitor has been on a tear in 2012; winning 12 local and regional events, while nearly dominating the Three State Flyers series. Satterlee will have an opportunity to pocket another $10,000 this weekend as the 24th Annual ‘Tri-Star Pittsburgher’ at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway will feature a 53 lap, $10,000-to-win main event on Saturday evening, September 15th, for the UFo Super Late Model Super Series. Satterlee is a former UFo winner at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile.’
‘Tri-Star Pittsburgher’ action will begin tonight, September 14th, with all preliminary action for the UFo super late models. Preliminary action will include hot laps, time trials, and heat races; leaving feature action for Saturday night’s program. The super late models will be joined by a handful of other weekly, and not weekly, PPMS divisions; including the BRP Modified Tour, ‘410’ sprint cars, and the Brougher’s Machine Shop Pro-Late Models. All divisions will follow the same event format as the super late models; participating in all preliminary action on Friday evening, leaving feature competition for Saturday night, September 15th. Satterlee has found victory lane a total of 12 times in 2012, and hopes to earn lucky number 13 this weekend at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile.’ The Satterlee Petroleum Distributors/East American Motorsports/Roush Yates powered ‘double-deuce’ will then round out the month of September with visits to McKean County Raceway in East Smethport, Pennsylvania; and Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania. Satterlee is the current Three State Flyers Super Late Model Series point leader by nearly 100 markers. The last ‘3SF’ event of the season will be held at Roaring Knob Motorsport Complex on September 28th and 29th!
