Pittsburgh, PA (10-9-2012) – Western Pennsylvania super late model hotshoe, Jared Miley, looks to end all of his recent ‘bad luck’ this Saturday night, October 13th, at Wayne County Speedway’s ‘Freedom Fighter 40’ worth $4,000. The South Park, Pennsylvania native has been on a slight ‘downward spiral’ during the most recent section of racing season; failing to record a win since his ‘Red Miley Riley’ victory at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvaia Motor Speedway on August 18, 2012. The Jared Miley Racing/Colussy Chevrolet/Forcey Coal/Octane Graphix/FullyInjected.com ‘H1’ program will look to make progress this weekend, and return to Wayne County Speedway for the first time this season to capture top honors. The Freedom Fighters 40 Presented By DJ Directional Service at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio will be 40 laps in distance, paying $4,000 to the winner; with $400 guaranteed to each main event starter.
“We have been having some awful luck recently” explained Matt Miley, who is the crew chief for Jared Miley Racing, “We haven’t had a good chance to build any momentum recently…hopefully we can get out of this downward stretch we are on and get back on top!”
Jared Miley, who is the 2012 Lernerville Speedway super late model track champion, finished ninth (9th) during his most recent start in super late model competition. The top 10 finish came during United Late Model Series (ULMS) action at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio on Saturday, October 6th. Their Wayne County Speedway appearance this Saturday night will help close out the 2012 season. Only three more weekends of racing remains on Jared Miley Racing’s 2012 season; including this Saturday’s 40 lap event. The Dirt Track World Championship at Portsmouth Raceway Park, and the Steel City Stampede at Lernerville Speedway, are the only races that remain for Jared Miley this season at the conclusion of this weekend’s program.
