“The Man from Austintown” will be back in action this Friday and Saturday, September 23rd and 24th, for a two day event at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The Outlaw Sprint Warrior/305 Sprint Car division will be a part of the 12th annual ‘Little Guy Nationals’ at Mercer Raceway Park this weekend; with Fully Injected’s, Justin Whitesell, ready to jump into the mix. He will be the lone Fully Injected representative at Mercer this weekend; with a full expectation of finding victory lane for the FI team.
On Friday night, the Outlaw Sprint Warrior/305 Sprints will be on the schedule with a $500 to win, 20 lap feature; while Saturday night’s ‘Little Guy Nationals’ finale will host a 25 lap, $700 to win championship for the OSW/305’s.
Whitesell is recently coming off of a successful season at Mercer Raceway Park in 2011. The nineteen-year-old finished 2nd in the final point standings at MRP this year, and will look to transfer that momentum into this weekend’s event. The Fully Injected youngster visited other venues in Western PA this season, as well; Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, hosted the fast growing division earlier this summer, where Justin finished second in the Outlaw Sprint Warrior/305 appearance.
